Last week we had a game night, as most of you know.
Tonight we will be doing a SOAP study on Matthew 9:35-38. The emphasis is on evangelism. Jesus said that the harvest is plenty but the workers are few. I want the teens to identify themselves with one of the two types of people in this metaphor that Jesus uses. A person is either one who is need of Jesus as their Savior and Master or they know Jesus as Savior and Lord and they need to be telling others about him.
All of this will be done in their small groups. I have also challenged the small groups to come up with a plan that they as a small group could do together to tell the people of Kingman about Jesus. We will be having a day in the next couple of weeks where the small groups will go out and hopefully use some of the evangelism tools we have been talking about for the last few weeks.
We will also be finishing the teaching on how to use the Worldview booklets "Where are you going when you die?" I plan to put a video up showing you the various tools we have talked about in the last couple of months.
